Jack Wild- A Fank You Poem

I don't know how to say this
But I thought I'd have a try
I'm not very good with words you see
I'm not that kind of guy.

I appreciate the letters
And try to read 'em all
The lovely ones, the funny ones
In typing, print or scrawl.

The photos that you send me
They really are the most
So every morning at 8 o' clock
I look forward to the post.

The things that make me sad
Dear fans and a little blue
Is that I haven't got the time
To date each one of you.

Films and things seem glamorous
But it's you that matters, see
And as the years will come and go
I hope you'll stick by me.

Well I hope you've got the message
And know you're in my plans
Cos I had to write this rhyme
To say, "Fank you fans"...
